PTU 2013 COUNSELLING FEE PAYMENT

All candidates seeking Admission to Punjab Technical University are informed that the PTU 2013 Counselling Fee payment has begun and eligible candidates can make the payment by visiting-
https://iems.ptuaccounts.ac.in/doCreateAccount_ptuopea.do?Method=doRefresh_temp , Candidates will have to create an account to make the PTU 2013 Online Counselling Fee payment. In order to fill up the payment form candidates will have to fill in all the required details some of which include name of the applicant, course, email ID, date of birth, mobile number etc. After successfully registering, candidates will receive a confirmation email or sms that will disclose your user id and password. Candidates will be required to make a fee payment of Rs 2000 per course selected. The step wise help document for assistance in payment processing of Online Counselling of PTU 2013 can be downloaded from:

UPSEE 2012 Counselling Process & Schedule 2012 – 2013

UPSEE (Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Exam) COUNSELLING: ON LINE COMPUTER METHODOLOGY
• On-line counselling will be done at various counselling centres located at different cities in state of Uttar Pradesh. The candidate invited for counselling is to report at counselling centre allotted to him/her. The details of counselling will be provided to successful candidates with counselling letter. The information about counselling schedule, procedure and centres etc., will also be available on website: www.upsee.nic.in / uptu.ac.in / mtu.ac.in

• The successful candidates will be called for on-line counselling based on their State Rank (Combined General Rank), even if they belong to reserved category. However, the advantage of their reserved category rank (in case they submit proper category reservation certificate) shall be provided at the time of allotment of seats.

• The allotment of the seat/Institution/branch will be made during the on-campus counselling based on the merit position of candidates in UPSEE-2012 in their eligible category.

• A counselling letter will also be sent by ordinary post to the successful candidates. Any delay on part of Post Office is not the responsibility of University or Central Admission Board. The candidate should visit above website frequently.

• The candidates called for counselling will be required to come with original certificates of qualifying examination, marksheet, weightage certificate, domicile and category/ reservation certificates etc. with one attested copy of each. In case the candidates do not submit the proper category/ reservation certificate in the prescribed proforma at the time of counselling, the advantage of reserved category shall not be provided and they will be treated in General Category. If the candidate has passed qualifying examination from outside of U.P., he/she has to bring the domicile certificate of his/her parents (Father OR Mother) only at the time of counseling. The candidate must note that his/her domicile certificate in place of his parent’s certificate, is not acceptable and no request shall be entertained for relaxation.

• Verification of original documents would be done at the time of counselling at the counselling centre. The purpose would be to verify different records regarding, qualifying examination, state of eligibility, category/ reservation certificate and weightage etc. of the candidate. The candidates will not be considered for admission if he does not show the original documents at counselling centre. However the originals will be returned to candidates on DAY-2 of counselling.

• The initial fee of Rs. 5,000/- will be deposited at counselling centre in the form of Bank draft. This fee is adjustable against total fee payable at institution if candidate takes admission at allotted institute / university. In some cases, the initial fee may be refunded as per conditions laid down in clause-16.2. The initial fee of Rs. 5,000/- will be forfeited if the candidate does not take admission in allotted institution. Requests for return of this fee in such case will not be entertained.

• In addition to initial fee the candidate called for counselling is to deposit a separate bank draft of Rs. 500/- as counselling fee. This counselling fee is non-refundable.

• After allotment of seat, the candidates are required to deposit a 'part of college/ institute fee' in form of Bank draft of Rs. 10,000=00 for General & OBC category candidates and Rs. 4,000=00 for SC & ST category candidates, at respective counselling centers within three days from the date of issue of allotment/ admission letter, failing which the allotted seat will automatically be cancelled. This part of college/institute fee (Rs. 10,000 / Rs. 4,000) is adjustable against total fee payable at institution if candidate takes admission at allotted institute / university. This amount (Rs. 10,000 /Rs. 4,000) will be forfeited if the candidate does not take admission in allotted institution and requests for return of this fee in such case will not be entertained.

• If a candidate wish to participate in counselling for more than one course, he/she has to deposit the counselling fee of Rs. 500/- (in form of Bank Draft) only, provided he/she has deposited the fee as per above point.

• After first counselling, the special drive for re-counselling will be conducted for filling the vacant seats of reserve categories. The detailed procedure for re-counselling of special drive shall be displayed on the website at the time of counselling. During the special drive for re-counselling, fee will be collected through separate Bank Draft in the following manner:
(a) Rs. 5000/- as initial fee and Rs. 500/- as re-counselling fee from those who have not been allotted any seat in earlier counselling or not participated in earlier counselling or seat is cancelled in earlier counselling as per point above.
(b) Rs. 500/- only as re-counselling fee from those who would like to shift to other choice.

• All the Bank drafts must be prepared separately and drawn in favour of ‘Finance Officer, Gautam Buddh Technical University, Lucknow’ payable at city branch of applicant’s counseling centre. For example, a student appearing for counselling at Lucknow, the draft should be in favour of ‘Finance Officer, Gautam Buddh Technical University, Lucknow’ payable at Lucknow.

• Counselling Procedures will be available on website: www.upsee.nic.in / uptu.ac.in /mtu.ac.in well in time before start of counselling. The candidates are advised to visit this website for procedures of on-line counselling.

• Based on merit/rank in UPSEE-2012 the counselling will be conducted on-line through internet in two phases. In Phase-I, which will be off-campus-on-line, the candidates can exercise their choices at place of their convenience through internet to know about indicative choice allotment at frequent intervals. Phase-II will be on-campus-on-line, where eligible candidates will be required to report at prescribed counselling center for registration and final choice submission.

• The counselling will start in first week of July 2012. For details of counselling schedule, visit the website: www.upsee.nic.in / www.uptu.ac.in/mtu.ac.in frequently after declaration of result.

• The latest instructions of AICTE, Govt. and GBTU upto the date(s) of counselling shall be applicable.

• According to G.O. no. 2426/Solah-1-2009-13(128)/2009 dated 10-09-2009 the admission will be given on 60 percent seats in undergraduate courses to Physically Handicapped candidates in Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology for handicapped, Kanpur and remaining 40 percent seats are reserved for General candidates. The reservation policy of U.P. Govt. will be applicable on both types of seats.

Vellore Institute of Technology B.Tech Counselling Process
Advance Payment:
The selected candidates will have to submit the DD for 30,000- in favour of ‘VIT University’, payble at Vellore, on the Confirmation of seat and acceptance of branch alloted. This includes ` 10,000/- towards couselling fee. Couselling fee is NON-REFUNDABLE , but it will be adjusted in the tuition fees once the candidate joins the University
Counselling procedure for allocation of seats/ branch:
The counselling for allocation of branches to the short-listed candidates based on their All India Rank (AIR) in the VITEEE 2012. A candidate may obtain this information on our website or by calling the VIT office, on the day after the declaration of the results of VITEEE-2012.
To take care of possible absentees, the number of qualified candidates is kept more than the number of seats available in VIT University. The fact that a candidate has qualified in the VITEEE-2012 and has been called for and the counselling does not guarantee admission to him / her. This will depend upon the candidates All India Rank (AIR) in the entrance examination and the availability of seats.
Details of various branches offered under the B.Tech. programme in the current year, the total number of seats allocated for each branch, the number of seats already allotted, number of seats still available will be displayed at the counselling centre for the benefit of candidates to make their choice. Based on the availability, the candidate will be allotted the branch.
VIT will in no way be responsible for counselling information not reaching the candidates. They should check the VIT website: www.vit.ac.in for information on counselling.
No change of date / time of counselling is permissible. If a candidate does not personally appear before the Admission Committee for counselling on the date specified, his/her seat shall be offered to the next candidate in the order of merit. However, due to unforeseen reasons, if a candidate is unable to attend the counselling on the specified date and time, he / she can attend on a subsequent time / date, after duly intimating the office, regarding this. But the candidate can only opt for the branch available at that time and cannot claim any other branch as per his / her original turn / seniority.
After the counselling for a particular day is over, the number of seats (branchwise) still available for allotment on the next day of counselling will be published in the website and will also be displayed on the notice board of the Institute for the benefit of candidates.
If the mark statement of the qualifying exam has not been received before the date of counselling, the candidate would have to furnish an undertaking stating that if he/she fails to qualify as per the norms, itwould lead to him/ her to forego his/ her seat.


Advance payment for Hostel
Candidate requiring hostel accommodation will have to submit a separate crossed Demand Draft for ` 20,000 drawn in favour of ‘VIT University’, payable at Vellore and 4 nos. of recent passport size colour photos along with a hostel application form which is given at time of room counselling to the Chief Warden Office to confirm the hostel room.
Submission of Documents at the Time of Counselling
The candidates should produce the following documents in original along with one set of photocopies while reporting for counselling. Candidates will not be allowed to participate in the counselling process without these documents.
• VITEEE-2012 Admit Card
• Class X Board Certificate as a proof of date of birth
• Marks Sheet of Qualifying Examination (if available)
• Community Certificate (For SC/ST only)
• Nativity Certificate (For candidates hailing from Jammu and Kashmir and the North Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura).
• DEMAND DRAFT for ` 30,000/- drawn in favour of ‘VIT University’, payable at Vellore.

It is only after the verification of documents, candidates will be allowed to participate in the counselling process. Authentic records pertaining to identification, age, marks sheet of qualifying examination, community, nativity (if applicable) and other eligibility criteria as specified in section-3, will be checked. If a candidate fails to produce any of these documents, he/she will not be considered for admission. A candidate should decide for certain on whether he / she should join the programme based on the branch allotted to him/ her at the time of counselling before the payment of the fee.
Allotment of branch & Campus once made is final and cannot be changed under any circumstances.

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Counselling Process & Schedule 2012-2013

For the programmes for which Common Entrance Tests are being conducted, the University will prepare a list of qualified candidates separately for each Test Code in order of merit based on the marks obtained by the candidates in the said Tests. The result of Common Entrance Tests will be displayed on the University's Website (www.ipu.ac.in). The University will declare inter-se-ranks for qualified candidates only. No separate intimation will be sent to the candidates in this regard. All the admissions will be made through two counsellings to be conducted by the University as per the procuedure prescribed in subsequent paragraphs, strictly on the basis of interse- merit of the qualified candidates. There will be no Group Discussion and Interview for deciding the inter-se-merit for any programme. There will be no third counselling.

COUNSELLING AND ADMISSION
1. The seats in various courses of the B. Tech. programmes are allotted strictly on the basis of the Rank lists generated for each category and the options exercised by the candidate at the time of Counselling.
2. Each candidate who is selected for admission to a B. Tech. programme in IIST shall execute a Surety Bond to serve ISRO/DOS for a period of 5 years after the completion of studies (on a Non-Judicial paper costing Rs. 100) in the prescribed format duly signed by the student, parent and surety at the time of admission.
3. Candidates who qualify in ISAT-2012 will have to submit a physical fitness certificate from a registered medical practitioner in the prescribed format that will be made available at the time of Counselling. Candidates will be admitted only if they are physically fit for pursuing a course of study at IIST.
